I’m so excited about this simple little quilt. Firstly I love the fabrics, I got them at Cool Cottons, love them – the fabrics and the store. And Secondly this is the first quilt pattern I’ve written for beginners.

I must admit I love the design so much I’m thinking of writing it as a throw made in the traditional way with a binding and all that.

Anyway if you know someone having a baby, wanting a quick and easy project, or just wanting to give quilting a try, feel free to recommend this awesome little pattern.

I can see it done in shabby chic fabrics, boy or girl, pastels, even neons! I just love it. I hope you do too.
