There is something really beautiful about a walled garden. Perhaps it has been squeezed into an unexpected space and it is working within those confines or because its a secret garden, and that makes it unexpected and special. That and my Mum, (an avid gardener) are my inspirations for this quilt.

The design has a focal square, on point, surrounded by the walls of the garden. Working with a theme, both the focal blocks and sashing feature Square-in-a-Square elements. I hope you enjoy my little view of Florence.
