Way back when I was little there was a dessert that was made “Layer upon Layer” and that’s the inspiration for the name of this design. I really love the way the blocks interlock to create a layered effect.

There is a good deal of matching of points in this quilt to create that layered look. So take your time with this project. I think the results are definitely worth the effort.
